McCrometer Inc Announces NSF-61 And NSF-372 Certification For McPropeller Flow Meter
McCrometer, Inc., a globally recognized flow meter manufacturer, recently announced NSF-61 and NSF-372 certification for the Mc®Propeller flow meter.
The NSF-61 and NSF-372 certifications are international standards of approval for products, including flow meters, for safe use in drinking water flow applications. The Ultra Mag® and Dura Mag™ meters achieved NSF certification in 2021, and the FPI Mag® before that in 2019.
The McPropeller is certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 61 for material safety and NSF/ANSI 372 for low lead content. The newest McPropeller configurations to become certified to NSF are the “tube-style” or full-spooled configurations:

These approved meters, in the weld-on top-plate, main-line top-plate, and fixed ell styles join the group of existing certified mag meters, as well as the bolt-on saddle-style McPropeller, the M0300 series.
“Our customers in agriculture and municipal drinking water have been asking for additional McPropeller configurations to become certified to NSF,” says Memphis Huff V, Quality & Product Compliance Manager for McCrometer. “The addition of so many new configurations allow our customers more flexibility in the application of our products.”
The McPropeller configurations certified to NSF standards are currently available for purchase through the factory or by contacting any local authorized McCrometer representative. Additional information about the McPropeller configurations is available at www.mccrometer.com
